Our Story

SpiceRoute Foods started as a kitchen of memory and curiosity. The founders traveled across India to learn how families and small vendors prepare time-honored recipes. They met spice farmers, coastal fishermen, and home cooks, collecting stories and techniques. The aim was not to replicate a single region, but to celebrate the diversity of India’s culinary landscape by presenting thoughtfully prepared dishes in a modern, reliable format.

We launched operations in Bangalore to serve both everyday meals and events. Our team combines culinary tradition with contemporary food-safety practices. Each menu is designed to be honest about origin, seasonal availability, and dietary preferences. We place quality and transparency at the center of every decision.

Philosophy & Sourcing

Our philosophy focuses on provenance, seasonality, and minimal processing. We partner with smallholder farmers and ethical spice suppliers across India to source whole spices, heirloom rice, and seasonal produce. When possible, we choose suppliers who practice regenerative farming and fair labor. Spices are blended in small batches, and our chefs adapt classic preparations to highlight ingredient integrity. We avoid synthetic additives and emphasize balanced seasoning so each dish retains regional identity while being approachable for a broad audience.

Community & Sustainability

We invest in community programs that support culinary training and food safety education. Packaging uses recyclable materials and compostable options for hot meals. Our logistics team plans routes to reduce emissions, and we forecast demand carefully to minimize food waste. Local partnerships help us create seasonal menus that reflect cultural festivals and produce availability. Through these efforts, we aim to be a responsible food provider and an engaged member of Bangalore’s local food ecosystem.
